Bruce Austin

was born July 27, 1953, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. He attended the University of Florida, and graduated with Honors in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance. He then attended the University of Florida College of law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1977.

Bruce Austin was admitted to the Florida bar in 1978. He was admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida in 1979 and in the U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida in 1988. He is an active member in the following associations: Florida Bar Association, American Bar Association, St. Petersburg Bar Association, Clearwater Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA).

Bruce Austin received his certification as a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer in 1991. He is also a Certified Circuit Court Mediator. He has been recognized in the publication LEADING FLORIDA ATTORNEY and he is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell Law directory.
